One of eleven designs commissioned by Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York, in 1985, when eleven artists were sent to visit India, this piece was originally handmade of yellow quartz using a hammer, and now is remade in a version that use CNC technology, with a multi-axis robot and water jet cutting.
